Summer casual for the 1890s wasn't all that casual. Returning from the store with some "SAFE" Yeast, this young lady is going to make some bread that "smells sweeter than the flowers." If she had dared to chose "unsafe" ordinary yeast, who knows what would have become of her efforts?! Ah, the perils of bread making! Quack!
