  1. Alex Diamzon The artist that created this work is anonymous. Most artists were employed by the lithographic printing company that produced the advertising cards. As "house artists" they were paid a salary and their work was copyrighted under the printer's name. In this case, the printer might have been Bufford, but that is not clear. The copyright has expired on these cards. They are in the public domain, which means they are now free for you to print and share.
