Height of fashion, 1894!

Height of fashion, 1894! A grape outfit sells grape products. The back of the card makes health claims for Sanitas Grape Food and juice that were most likely exaggerated.

Meanwhile, we found a photo of a Sanitas container as part of a slide presentation by Tobin Gilman [ https://www.slideshare.net/tgilman/book-presentation-11-1613 ]

Tobin Gilman says,

"This presentation was delivered at the New Almaden Quicksilver Mining Museum on November 16, 2013. It features a subset of content from the award winning book, 19TH CENTURY SAN JOSE IN A BOTTLE, as well as general interest material not included in the book."

Her generation will be the first where women have the right to vote in America. #VictorianFashions #19thCenturyTradeCards
